Discovering Roman Antiquity - Pont du Gard

Agence Avignon

Overview

Explore an absolute masterpiece of ancient engineering, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the Pont du Gard, stone tells two thousand years of history with an eloquence few monuments in the world can match. This experience is available in two versions: a guided tour led by a certified expert who reveals the secrets behind the construction of the aqueduct and the interactive museum, or an independent exploration combining discovery at your own pace with a refreshing swim in the clear waters of the Gardon, with a direct view of the aqueduct’s three tiers. In both cases, an exceptional natural setting in Provence awaits you.
